Writer's Wednesday- Take Two Favorite Parts (Spring 1-5)

My Favorite Parts of Take Two and Call Me in the Morning: Spring Chapters 1-5

Some of you might know that I'm currently in the works of my novel, Take Two. For those that don't, this is a novel that I started in 2012 for NaNoWriMo. (I didn't win the challenge with it..but that's okay!) It's about a receptionist who unknowingly falls in love with her playboy doctor of a boss and their problems and victories thereafter. It's an Erotic Romance so there are a lot of adult scenes, but hey if you're a fan of those then this is right up your alley! For these next few Writer's Wednesdays, I decided to share with you some of my favorite scenes from chapters written so far. I'm in the middle of the autumn season chapters so I'll continue again when I finish the story. Fair Warning: There is adult language that might not be safe for work. In other words: If you aren't a fan of Fifty Shades of Grey, then you might want to skip this post cause it's most likely worse. With that being said, I hope you enjoy!

Chapter 1
It was the second man. He had the same stoic face his father had but didn’t quite look like him. No sign of aging to be seen; his facial features were smooth as if chiseled from marble. His hair was slicked back with some kind of gel and dark eyes stared down at the woman in front of him.

“Good Afternoon,” Aija started.

“My name is Mizuno Hikaru. I’m the manager and one of the lead doctors here.” Aija frowned at his name and felt instantly confused. His first name was the same as his partner. “I’m sorry. Your name is Mizuno? But Mizuno-san has the same first…” Hikaru sighed from the incompetence of his new employee and said, “Yes, my father has the same last name. Does that matter?”

Aija blinked, noting the equally frosty tone his father had. “Well, actually…” she started, hating that her day was starting to go downhill.

“It shouldn’t matter because what should matter is that you should be up there right now with the growing number of patients to sign them in.” He asked, crossing his arms.

“It’s my lunch time.” Aija started in defense and the doctor eyed her. Aija pursed her lips; his attitude grating on her nerves. “I apologize, but I try to make a habit of knowing who I’m working for. You wouldn’t want a receptionist who didn’t know what she was doing, right?”

Hikaru kept his arms crossed as he asked, “
Do you know what you’re doing?” Aija was slightly offended. “Yes, I do.”

He chuckled light. “It’s hard to tell.” Aija fell silent, deciding not to keep this battle going as he came closer to her. He was nearly chest to chest with her. “I’m not my father so, Dr. Mizuno will do. However, I won’t take any shit from anybody in this building. That includes you too, Miss Confident Receptionist. I don’t have a problem firing people. So do a good job and you won’t have to worry about that in your future. Understood?”

Aija was speechless. But she kept her growing anger down and said calmly, “Yes, Dr. Mizuno. You have nothing to worry about.”

Hikaru gave a soft yet cocky smirk. “Good to hear it. Have a good day, Miss Edwards.” Aija stared after him saying in a phony voice, “You too, Dr. Mizuno.” As he walked to his office, Aija stared after him. She definitely had her share of mean bosses but he topped the cake. She knew one thing though:

She had never wanted a man more in her life.

Chapter 2
Being one of the only two children Ryu and Chi had, Hikaru’s room had never been used for anything else and neither had his sister’s. Hikaru didn’t sleep in it much; just naps, but he usually came up so that he could de-stress and relax.

He sat on his bed and for a moment just looked around the college style bedroom. His mother had decorated it- she put pictures of him and his friends on the walls and the desk. He got up and picked up a frame that had a picture of him and his best friend, Takumi. They had lived together in Japan and usually did everything together. He and his girlfriend Briseis were together still from what he knew and whenever he called him, Takumi sounded happy.

Happiness.

Such an emotion was foreign to Hikaru now. The only ones he knew were stress, fatigue and more often than not, anger. Anger that he was here, anger at his father and anger that he was at the career level that he was. But in his mind, there was nothing he could do about it.

You are the one who will take up this business after me, Hikaru. Do not forget that.” He heard his father’s voice echoing in his head. He growled in frustration and then picked up his phone and dialed a number. After a few rings he heard a woman answer.

“Hey, are you ready?”

When she answered yes, Hikaru smiled wide and he began to leave the bedroom, but not before saying, “I’m on the way.” He heard giggling and then her agreement and headed down stairs. “Hold on.” He walked in the kitchen, kissed his mother goodbye and then ordered “I’ll be there in fifteen. Be sure you are naked when I get there.”

Chapter 3
Aija froze in her step and turned around slowly. "What are you talking about?"

Hikaru stared boldly at her before saying, "I overheard from your obnoxious friend that you were going to her house later. I bet you can't wait to get up out of this bitch so that you can go to the ghetto and drink some fourties with your homies." He leaned back in his chair with his hands behind his head as he finished, "Good thing you don't have to work overtime, huh?"

Speechless, Aija stared back just as bold before crossing her arms and saying in calm voice, "Wow, and here I thought you were professional."

Hikaru dropped his grin. "Pardon?"

Aija did a mock gang sign hitting her heart twice saying, "Up in hurr? Fourties with my homies? You really think you know me, huh?" Hikaru was silenced as Aija retorted, "Well, let me tell you something, sir. You don't know me like you think you do. I'm not like my friend. I am adept inside and out and I don't need people like you trying to mock me into leaving my job."

Hikaru regarded the now angry receptionist who continued saying, "I do what I do damn well; doing every crazy thing you ask me to do. I even run out to get your dry cleaning and the last time I checked, receptionists don't do that. I don't even gossip about you or overhear your conversations either."

Her boss looked down slight; he had indeed eavesdropped on her. Aija paused and took a deep breath, remembering Nakya's words. Her eyes glanced over at an overgrown bonzai tree, surprised at how it contradicted in the immaculate office. "But I respect you...so, I'm just going to ignore the HUGE line you just crossed with me and get back to my work."

Hikaru now was the speechless one. He leaned forward and crossed his hands, not knowing what to say to this audacious woman. Aija didn't even let him get the last laugh, turning and heading toward her office. Before she did, she turned her head to look at him.

"Oh, in answer to your question...Yes, I am ready to get out of here. Not to drink with my friends, but to get home and be in my comfortable bed where I can be away from work."

She glanced up at the clock seeing it was 4:30 and said, "Actually, it's time to do that now. You have a good weekend, Dr. Mizuno. I know I will."

The young woman walked out of Hikaru's sight and he was left in thought.

Chapter 4
“Miss Edwards.”

Aija stopped still as Hikaru’s deep commanding voice called out. She turned and was surprised to see him lowering the blinds and closing them. “Yes?” Hikaru turned around after his task asked simply, “Do you have plans tomorrow?”

Aija shook her head quickly. “No.”

“Good.” Hikaru remarked, and then as he came back to his desk, started undoing his tie. Aija was confused by that movement but intrigued at the same time. He then gave her a look that was no nonsense.

Here’s what’s going to happen. I’m going to fuck you…hard. Afterwards, we’re going go to our homes and then come back here on Monday for another week of work as if everything is normal. Got me?”

Aija’s heated mind was instantly plagued with images of Hikaru plunging in and out of her body and her answer was instant. “Yes.”

“Yes, what?” Hikaru’s voice was deep and unexpectedly dominant.

“Yes, Doctor.” Aija’s was quite the opposite; breathless and slightly submissive.

Hikaru, getting the response he wanted, put his patient’s chart away in a drawer, cleaned off a part of his desk before patting the top of it and ordering, “Get up here.” As if his voice controlled her nervous system, Aija gracefully came behind the desk before pulling her body up on top of the desk. She began to cross her legs, but Hikaru grabbed them; his hands warm on her stocking covered knees. “No, keep them open. We won’t need them closed for what I’m going to do to you, Miss Edwards.”

Aija swallowed hard, knowing that Hikaru meant business by those words alone. “Yes, Dr. Mizuno.

“In fact…” Hikaru started as he rose up from his chair slowly, his hands trailing up under Aija’s dress along her skin. Once underneath it, he caressed the curve of her ass leisurely, grabbing on to a bit of the soft lace covered flesh. Aija bit her lip as the desire inside her threatened to spill over with each caress and tug of his hand. “Let’s change things up a bit.” He pulled his hand out of her dress then sat back down in his chair, leaning back as he looked Aija straight in her eyes. “Take your dress off, Aija. I want to see what I’m touching.”

Chapter 5
After Hikaru hung up with his best friend, he took his steaming coffee and started to head into his living room to chill out and relax. But before he could, he stopped hearing a suspicious sound. He headed toward his bedroom hearing the sounds getting louder and louder. As he stopped and listened to see what it was, he frowned and gave a smirk. If he didn’t know any better, he would have thought they were moans and moans by a woman. Didn’t sound like there was a man there with her and so he had a feeling that she must have been masturbating. He didn’t move from his spot in the hallway; he was content to listen to this mysterious female who was bringing herself to completion, taking swallow after swallow of his coffee.

With each moan, he could feel his mind traveling back to the sexy receptionist he fucked well the night before. It was a great experience, but now there was a question. Why did he do what he did? It wasn’t like he wanted Aija to be his. “Because I wanted to. Simple.” He said to himself. The moans stopped and Hikaru situated his semi-aroused cock in his pants before heading into his living room to finish his coffee. He wondered if that sexy moaning was from his neighbor and not a guest. Moans were high on his list of turn-ons and he realized Aija wasn’t a stranger to them. He then also wondered if she was pissed at him for ditching her last night in the office.

It wasn’t like I left her on the desk or nothing… He thought, conflicted a bit. Aija had fallen asleep fairly quickly after their act together and after he had come back from his orgasm, he had gotten dressed, put the scantily dressed woman on his couch, covered her up and headed for his house. He wasn’t looking for any cuddling or kissing or saying that was great. All he wanted was just pure sexual gratification.

Hikaru had gotten it, but now…

He yearned for more and just from Aija. He had never been with such a needy, more sensitive body in his life. It was soft and warm and beckoning for touch and the garter belt was a welcoming sight. This time Hikaru’s cock swelled hard thinking about the fact that his beautiful receptionist was wearing those wicked undergarments under her work clothing ever since she started work in his father’s business.

“Aija, you naughty naughty onna…” He said softly, taking a swallow of coffee.

Currently in September

Well, truthfully, I'm a bit down in the dumps when comes to my thinking. I am not in the best of health (as in...I got diagnosed with Hand Foot Mouth yesterday). I hate that I have this cause I know it's contagious and I have been kissing and stuff with Sofia. She's had it before when she was one so maybe it's not going to be so bad with her. But still it has me on edge and it makes me sorry she went through it so young because it's no joke.

I'm loving the fact that I'm finding more time to play with Sofia during the day. I used to be on my computer all day long and sadly didn't really put in the time that I needed to with her. But I resolved myself to do it for her and I don't plan on that changing unless I have to work and even then I'm still going to find some kind of time.

I finished my written driver's test online so that's one step closer to getting my license and driving. The plan is that I'm going to fix the car because the transmission fluid has leaked out of it and then get it registered to me and finally take the driver's test. It might not even go in that order at all but the bottom line is, Brittney is on her way to driving on the road! Woot! I said that I would drive during my 30th year and I'm determined to make that happen. If that means I have to drive in Paloma until my car works then so be it.

It's autumn so you know what that means...Fall television shows! I'm loving Empire and Scandal so far and I almost watched Nashville's new season but I decided to catch up on it. Same with Heroes. I want to catch up on it before I can try to watch any new ones. I finished the new Teen Wolf season and can't wait to see the new one in January. Just so many good shows and not enough time in life!

I've been playing the Sims 3 lately and have my own Simblr for it (for those that don't know...a simblr is a Tumblr page made just for Sims.) After searching through other ones, I find this song that I have fallen in love with. Dance Like We're Making Love by Ciara. I just love everything about it. The beat, the words, the music video...just LUB. Take a listen to it and see how you like it.

This past few months have been the months of books for me and la princesa. We just went yesterday to get books and ended up getting 30. Yep, 30! Mostly cause they were graphic novels and I wanted to finish the series. But I also got Matched, Crossed and Reached by Ally Condie. I really want to get into the series cause it seems a bit like the Hunger Games in a way. Yeah, I know they are teen books, but I don't discriminate when it comes to books! As long as it has a good plot and characters.

Hmmm...writing has been on the slow path lately but it's ok. There are more important things I'm worried about like driving. But that isn't to say that I haven't written anything. I actually finished two more autumn chapters for Take Two and Call Me in the Morning. Things are changing for Aija and she has to battle through her depressive state so that she can go on with her life. Hikaru is still by her side but this is a battle she has to do on her own .

“This isn’t right…” Hikaru said quietly to no one in particular as he looked through Micah’s chart. Disappointed at the results of the young boy’s blood test, he sighed and made notes for more chemo. A glance at his clock signaled 2:30 am and he was glad that it was Saturday and he could sleep in. Yume lay on his bed, sprawled out like a golden comforter and Hikaru smiled at the sight before it disappeared with the sound of screaming. It was faint but still unmistakable and after taking a moment to figure out where it was, Hikaru’s eyes widened as he realized that it came from Aija’s home. Startling Yume from his sleep, he leaped out from the covers in just a pair of dark gray pajama pants. He ran through the house and out the door as if somebody was chasing him to her door, taking no time to unlock the door with his spare key.

Another blood curling scream froze his heart and Hikaru didn’t even bother to close the front door before dashing through the living room and hallway to Aija’s room. He wasn’t sure what he would find. A burglary? Someone attacking her? The thought of that spurred Hikaru to open the door. His eyes landed on Aija who was in the middle of her bed thrashing in her sleep. Hikaru frowned in confusion. Not once had he heard her having a nightmare and from the way she gripped onto her sheets in fear, he never wanted to.

Seeing her arching her back up into the air was enough for Hikaru and he hurried onto her bed, scooping her up into his arms. Stroking her wild hair back as she struggled in his embrace, he ordered gentle like, “Aija, wake up. Wake up, baby.”

Aija’s breath turned into pants as she stirred then finally opened her eyes slow. The fear inside them was still apparent as she stared up at who held her. When she recognized Hikaru, the faintest line of water gathered inside of her eyes.

“You’re here…” was all she said to him though Hikaru could tell she was relieved.

“I’m here.”

Aija drew her arms around him, hugging him to her and while he hugged her back, Hikaru took the chance to look around her catastrophe of a room. It was so stagnant and gloomy that he groaned and tightened his grip on her. He would ask about this later, but first things first…

Photography...oh yes! There has been some camera snapping around here lately and I'm so happy about it! I finally finished my mother's photos as shown on the post before this one. I did a maternity shoot for my cousin Amber before her little boy Caiden is born next month and then I did a scenery shoot for a family friend because her daughter turned 16 and she decorated for her party. I'm happy that my photography is happening more and more and it can only get better in the future. Take a lookie at the pretties!

So far...other than the sudden sickness, September is being pretty good to me! I hope it's doing the same to all you lovelies too!

Something Snapped Session: Mom at Trinity Park

It is officially autumn and how am I spending it? Staying indoors cause Texas still hasn't gotten the memo. That's ok though cause it gave me some time to work on finishing my mother's photos that I had procrastinated with. Now that I look at them I have to ask, "what took me so long? these are gorgeous!" But man...my mom can really slay! Just brings tears to my eyes; blinded by all the beauty...

But I mean, don't take my word for it! Have a looksie!

Stay tuned for my next photo session. Here's a hint...it has a baby bump in it!
