Random Pic of the Day

* This is Sofia's first big girl car seat and since we are getting ready to go to Arizona, we've been keeping it in the house. So this little lady has been sitting in it whenever she can and is making good use of it. I just hope she's okay with it when we go for our hours long trip.

Random Facts About Me!

My first name is Brittney. My middle name is Patrice. My grandmother named me my first name and my middle name is after a aunt I don't even know.

I'm 28 years young and rocking it even with a few gray hairs here and there.

I write interracial erotic romance (a mouthful I know.) and my pseudonym is Bitzsoi. How did I come up with Bitzsoi? I just used my daughter's nickname and my own. Simple.

I live in Fort Worth, TX near Crowley and I love my city. Hell, I love my state. Crazy weather and all.

I am a Cancer born on July 17th. I can be lovable and sweet one minute and crabby as all get out the next. Ask my husband, he knows all about it.

I am on the autism spectrum being diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome when I was fifteen. Not only that, I have severe anxiety, depression and ADD. It's a pain to deal with daily, but I survive it.

I live with my small family with my mother included. It's not much but it's all I need.

Even though I live with a small family, all in all I have a gigantic family on both my mother and my father's sides and majority of them all live in Texas as well.

I am surrounded by Hispanic culture and you know what? That's ok with me. I know that I will always be a independent African American woman, but I embrace my husband's background.

Some of My Favorite Past Birthdays

My 28th birthday is looming ever closer to reality and while I don't have any big plans for it, I smile when I think about my past birthdays. Some were the best ever and I want to take the time to reminisce about them.

* My 7th Birthday: Yeah, I went that far back, but it truly has stuck in my mind for all of these years. I remember that on the day of my birthday nothing really happened, just some wishes and a few gifts. But that following Sat, my mom told me that she had a surprise for me. So she blindfolded me and we set out in the car. I had no idea that she had a surprise party for me at Fun Time Pizza (which has since closed of course) I may have been small but it was one of the best surprises I've ever gotten.

* My 16th Birthday: I know, a huge gap from seven to sixteen but I only get fuzzy bits and pieces from other parties. This year I was living with my dad and had no clue if anything at all was going to happen for this important birthday. While I was at my aunt's house however, my mom told me to get dressed in this long beautiful burgundy dress. Imagine my shock at my surprise sweet 16 party! All my family was in on it and were there. There was cake and lots of dancing too! Remembering this though, makes me sad because my sister Ahly didn't get to have a sweet 16 of her own.

* My 21st Birthday: This one was one of the best of the best! How so? This was when my mother and I went to Florida to go to Walt Disney World for the first time! I had wanted to go as a child but now that I think about it, I'm glad I got to go at that age cause the memories are still plenty vivid. I'm also glad I got to do it with my mom too. She's an awesome travel buddy.

The cake my sister, Alisha made for me.

* My 25th Birthday: This one is also one of my all time fave birthdays because not only did I get to go to Jamaica for the first time ever but I also go to go with the love of my life. That was Juan and mine's first time out of the country. There was great food, great lodging, great people and great fun! Hope we can go there again someday.

So now here I am at the present, but what about the future? Soon the big 30 will be around the corner. Do I have big plans for that? Not just yet but I know it will be fun whatever comes up!

Do you have your favorite birthday memories? Share them with me!

Here's an Equation...

What do you get when you clean up a whole bathroom....

...and run hot water in a newly cleaned bathtub?

You get this marvelous result!

Yeah, I know that our tile is looking pretty grungy over there, but we're working on it. But just the fact that I can relax in this very calming looking bath is enough to make me sing to the heavens. See you later! It's a time overdue!

Bit and BiBi: Our Dream Weddings

She'll probably kill me for using this picture...

This is my wifey Bianca. Most of you have heard of her...others not so much. But in a nutshell..she is the BOMB DIGGITY x 10,000. Today I have posted her here because she's in some ways like me like she is a dreamer like me. Dreamer of what? Having the wedding of her dreams to my brother in law, Ruben. Yes, I know that I'm already married but hey, I could go for a vow renewal with everything I wanted. So scanning our pinterest boards here are some ideas that I've found and that she has found also for our dream weddings.

My Dream Wedding

My dream dress...I love that pinned up ruffle look

A candle to remember my Nanny and my cousin Chris. Also
to remember Juan's Abuelito and Abuelita

I already know my family is going to be dancing their asses
off! So these would be perfect for those sore feet.

When it happens I'm not sure how many kids will be at our renewal
but since Sofia and my cousins will be there, this would be great for them!

Yep, definite cake topper! Fits our little family just right.

A photo of my parents like this would be cool, but I'm
sure they would be more comfortable standing side to side
instead of holding hands.

A picture of Sofia and I like this
Coronas for us? Or maybe even Jarritos!

Bianca's Dream Wedding
*As my wifey isn't here with me at the moment, these are just pics without captions! Still good ideas tho!

As you can we have different ideas, but still we both have some pretty beautiful dreams to fulfill when the time comes! What is your dream wedding?

4th of July, 2013

There's not a lot of pictures for the holiday this time around; my cell phone wasn't charged all the way so I had to save battery power. But you know what? We had a good time anyway! Went to Bal and Kortni's again to have some barbecue and all that. They played volleyball while I did some cheerleading and then afterwards we went to see fireworks. It was a good show...not as good as last years, but still pretty good. My cousins Ehren and Jessica stayed with us for the week so they got to go with us, making sure they had a lot of fun as well.

What did you all do for this Independence Day? Hopefully had some good barbecue like we did!

Me and my Boo Bear

Sofia didn't get the memo to smile. :(
